I have to admit I have never been a fan of the previous Bachmann On30 Freight Cars. They always seemed a bit toy like in appearance and very unrealistic. There have been numerous articles published about how to modify these cars to achieve a closer to scale appearance. These modifications varied and seemed to take about as much time as building a craftsman kit.
Until now! Bachmann has introduced their line of smaller 18′ rolling stock. Bachmann appears to be moving in the direction of creating rolling stock for the On30 modeler looking for a cars with a bit more O scale craftsman qualities. Read the rest of this entry »
